Second Gulf Oil Spill Disaster Response Summit Successfully Held
On July 9, 2010, William Loiry and the Disaster Response Leadership Forum organized the second Gulf Oil Spill Disaster Response Summit in New Orleans. This extremely successful national public service event identified the latest impact of the oil spill on health, the environment, and our communities; provided the latest details on the BP claims process; and featured effective oil spill containment and response solutions. Speakers included U.S. Senator David Vitter; Jefferson Parish Council Chairman John Young; BP claims chief Darryl Willis; experts on the impact of the oil spill on health and the environment; and private sector leaders.
