William Loiry has worked tirelessly for many years to facilitate domestic disaster planning and preparedness. In 2004, Ike Eisentrout, from the Office of Port Security, Headquarters, United States Coast Guard, wrote Loiry, "Sir I want to compliment you on the Community Preparedness Briefing your company hosted on December 7, 2004 at the NPC. Since 1996, William Loiry has organized numerous conferences facilitating post-disaster reconstruction worldwide, helping thousands of people affected by disaster, from war-torn Bosnia to earthquake-stricken Turkey. In 2000, President Vojislav Kostunica of Yugoslavia stated, "Thank you very much for the organization of the Yugoslavia Reconstruction Conference in Washington and for the good will of Equity International to bring together American business people willing to aid the democratic processes in the country and boost its economic development."
