The Disaster Response Leadership Forum is empowering solutions to the Gulf oil spill catastrophe.
In May, 2010, the Forum organized a media tour in Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida, showcasing green and non-toxic alternatives to the current oil dispersants being used.
On June 17, the Forum is organizing the first Gulf Oil Spill Disaster Response Summit, scheduled at the Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, Alabama. The Summit will feature federal, state, and local officials involved in the oil spill disaster response; private sector leaders with disaster response solutions; and many others with an interest in responding to the disaster.
